Search for a Pet's Microchip

Find a pet by searching for their microchip number. We protect owners' privacy and data by only showing non-identifying information to users who aren't verified as NGO's or Veterinary Practices.

FindMyChip does not store any microchip lookup information on our database, so any data inconsistencies should be reported to the respective microchip database.

For Vets & Animal Welfare Organisations:

To access owner information for verification or reuniting lost pets, you'll need to register and log in using your practice number (for vets) or a NPC/PBO number (for animal welfare organisations).

Manage Your Pet's Microchip

If you're a pet owner, it's best practice to keep your information and your pet's information up to date.

To update your pet's information, transfer them to a new owner, download their certificate or report them missing: search for your pet's microchip number and get in touch with the database(s) you see them registered on.

Registering a new microchip?

Head over to our partners and find a microchip database to register with.

Registering on multiple databases is simple and reccommended to make sure your pet's information is always in the hands of animal welfare and veterinary specialists. Feel free to get in touch with them if you have any questions regarding your pet's information.
